Many customers and friends often ask me why the lamp head is not working and how to check it. Solar street light manufacturers will share with you a few simple methods. First, let's talk about LED lamp heads, which can be divided into two types: one with a built-in constant current source, and the other without a constant current source. Lamp heads without a constant current source are further divided into three or more series. If it is a lamp head with a constant current source, connect the positive and negative poles of the lamp head output directly to the battery output. Check if the lamp head can light up normally when disconnected from the controller. If it cannot light up, remove the built-in constant current source, replace it and try again, or directly use the corresponding control constant current integrated machine to try. If it can light up normally, it means that the original built-in constant current source is broken. Otherwise, it means that the lamp bead is broken.
If the same method is used for a lamp head without a constant current source, try replacing it with another good controller from the same project. If the replacement is successful, it indicates that there may be a problem with the original solar street light controller. Otherwise, there may be a problem with the lamp head light source. Please check if there is a problem with the lamp head wire and if the lamp beads are damaged. Checking dead light beads can be done by checking 3 or 4 strings of light beads one by one with the battery, and checking them one by one. Overall, it is quite convenient to confirm if there is a problem with the lamp head.
